Depression is the leading cause of disability for women worldwide and second leading for men. Mood Gym was developed by Australian Psychologists in 2001 and includes quizzes and exercises of therapy without the therapist.
Cognitive behavioral therapy is a commonly used treatment for depression, anxiety, and other conditions. They don't look at your history, instead, it aims to give patients the skills to manage their moods by helping them to identify unhelpful thoughts, like "worthlessness" or "failure."
Patients learn to analyze them with constructive thoughts that are more accurate/precise. Replace old thoughts with new affirmations. Most consider it the most effective therapy for depression.
