Over the counter meds and allergy pills can cause fatigue during the day and send your heart racing at night. Drugs used to treat neurologic disorders can affect sleep patterns.
Alpha-Beta Blockers, Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors cause insomnia and/or daytime sleepiness. Many neurologic conditions are associated with a higher rate of depression, so many take anti-depressants which adversely affect the natural quality of sleep.
