Anger-the manifestation of fear. Anger undermines the pursuit of just outcomes and undermines psychic (the psyche) tranquility. It is critiqued as counter-productive and there is a question as to whether anger is appropriate or not. The politics of anger provides that uninterrupted anger is the next best outcome--the american dream is its best hope to diffuse it. What makes anger justified? Does a black person being denotated as a thug justify it? Does stereotyping white males as murderers? Does a woman being called out of her name justify it? or paying women workers less money?
We are all at some point apt to anger in the space of intrinsic reasons and the negative effects thereof. We are prone to anger when we perceive that something "ought" to be, which in turn leads to disappointment. Where the anger is extroverted (it can be introverted) and the disappointment that is introverted ( can be extroverted); anger in response to a moral violation. Intrinsic reasons gives rise to the aptness of anger, to destroy the existence of its reason (The Aptness of Anger, Cambridge University).
