Stratification is the relative social position of persons within a social group, category, geographic region and/or social unit. It is distinguished in three social classes: upper stratum, middle stratum, and lower stratum.
Dystopia (opposite of utopia) is an imaginary community or society that is undesirable or frightening. It is known as a "not-good" place. These societies appear in many artistic works, particularly in stories set in the future. Dystopia is characterized by dehumanization, totalitarian governments, environmental disasters, and other characteristics associated with a cataclysmic decline in society.
