Coconut oil is a heart healthy fat that keeps the body running smoother. It provides resistance to viruses, bacteria, fungus, and candida (yeast). The oil positively affects hormones for thyroid and blood sugar control; it improves the body's use of insulin. Coconut oil increases metabolism and provides energy and endurance; it also increases digestion and absorbs fat soluable vitamins.
Scientifically speaking, coconut oil provides Lauric Acid (MCT), good HDL(cholesterol) in the blood and restores normal thyroid function. Coconut oil helps with depression, anxiety providing weight balance as it breaks down (MCT) healthy fats in the liver; it is efficient in burning energy.
I have personally tried coconut oil with baking soda on a toothbrush applied to a toothache. It may take a few times to do, but it eliminates the pain and not just alleviates it; i incorporate coconut oil in every aspect of my diet and skin care, if you can't eat it, you don't need it, lol, i just made that up.
