The digestive system is a group of organs working together to convert food into energy and nutrients to feed the body. Food passes through what is called the GI tract.
The GI tract is the body's primary organ of elimination. When the intestines are loaded with inflammatories, biochemical toxins are generated by the saturated fat in animal products and hydrogenated fat in processed foods. The body looks for a second venue to get rid of the debris and find its dumping ground in the sebaceous glands; a gland in the skin that secretes lubricating oil matter (sebum) into hair follicles and lubricates skin.
The oil generating glands generate pimples blocked with the gunk. Acne can be cured and cleaned up by improving the health of the digestive tract.
